Regent Unveils 2028-29 Cruise Collection With 238 Sailings
Regent Seven Seas Cruises, part of Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd., has released a 2028-29 Voyage Collection with 238 new sailings across its all-suite fleet. The program includes three Grand Voyages, a 150-night 2029 World Cruise and ship-specific firsts that place Seven Seas Prestige in Canada and New England, Seven Seas Splendor in Alaska, Seven Seas Voyager in the winter Mediterranean and Seven Seas Explorer in Africa and Arabia.
The season adds maiden calls at Dundee, Scotland; Oulu, Finland; and Sibenik, Croatia, and schedules 80 overnight stays in ports including Bordeaux, Copenhagen and Tokyo. It also sets up Seven Seas Prestige, Regent’s late-2026 newbuild, for a North American fall program after a summer in Northern Europe.
“From shorter escapes of seven nights up to our longer Grand Voyages, each sailing is designed to offer the perfect balance of immersive exploration and an unrivaled onboard experience,” Wesley D’Silva, president of Regent Seven Seas Cruises, said.
First regional assignments across the fleet
Seven Seas Prestige will spend summer 2028 in Northern Europe before moving to Canada and New England for five 11-night fall itineraries. The newbuild is larger than Regent’s current six vessels.
Seven Seas Splendor will sail in Alaska for the first time, operating 16 voyages to ports including Icy Strait Point, Skagway and Juneau. The same ship is also assigned 24 Asia itineraries of eight to 19 nights, including six roundtrip Tokyo sailings and calls at Hue/Da Nang, Bangkok via Laem Chabang and Hong Kong.
Seven Seas Voyager will operate its first winter Mediterranean season from November 2028, within a 63-voyage Mediterranean program on four ships with itineraries ranging from seven to 21 nights. Seven Seas Explorer will sail Africa and Arabia for the first time, with three 14- to 23-night voyages that include three overnight calls, a Cape Town roundtrip and ports such as Abidjan, Walvis Bay, Sao Tome and Luanda.
Northern Europe is scheduled for 33 nine- to 14-night itineraries aboard Seven Seas Prestige, Seven Seas Explorer, Seven Seas Voyager and Seven Seas Mariner. Seven Seas Prestige, Seven Seas Grandeur and Seven Seas Mariner are assigned to 28 Caribbean and Panama Canal cruises from Miami, Bridgetown, Los Angeles and Galveston.
In Australia and New Zealand, Seven Seas Explorer and Seven Seas Mariner will offer six cruises of 10 to 21 nights, including scenic cruising through Doubtful, Dusky and Milford Sounds. Seven Seas Mariner is slated for three South America itineraries of eight to 25 nights, including Amazon River and Antarctic Peninsula sailings, while Seven Seas Explorer and Seven Seas Mariner will operate South Pacific cruises of 18 to 21 nights with French Polynesia overnights and calls at Easter Island and Tahiti.
Grand voyages and world cruise plans
The Grand Voyages range from 61 to 101 nights across four continents and include 14 overnight stays in Africa, Asia, Australia and New Zealand, and Europe. The 101-night Grand Pathways of Europe sails May 30, 2028, on the newly refurbished Seven Seas Mariner from Barcelona to Amsterdam, with calls and routing through the British Isles, Iceland, Greenland, Scandinavia and the Baltics, plus a Kiel Canal transit and Copenhagen overnight.
Grand Hemispheres Journey is a 101-night Seven Seas Explorer voyage scheduled to depart Athens for Auckland on October 21, 2028, with an overnight in Mumbai before continuing through Southeast Asia, Bali, Australia and the South Pacific. Grand Silk Seas Passage is a 61-night Seven Seas Splendor sailing from Tokyo to Hong Kong on November 4, 2028, with overnight stays in Shanghai, Ho Chi Minh City, Bangkok and Hong Kong, along with an extended stay in Bali.
For the longer voyages, D’Silva said “longer stays and fewer time pressures create a more meaningful connection to the destination.” Regent lists Grand Voyage inclusions such as a pre-cruise hotel night with dinner, door-to-door luggage service, valet laundry with pressing and dry cleaning, dedicated phone time per suite and exclusive shoreside events.
The 2029 World Cruise, Eras of Exploration, is scheduled to visit the Amazon, Antarctica, the South Pacific, Australia and Southeast Asia before continuing through the Indian Ocean and Mediterranean and ending in Rome.
Pre-registration is open through Regent’s website, with reservations for the Voyage Collection scheduled to open May 27, 2026. Regent did not disclose starting fares. The 50 percent reduced-deposit window for U.S. and Canadian bookings runs through June 10.
