"textContent": "MSC Cruises has outlined a wider family entertainment program for MSC World Asia, adding interactive game formats, outdoor attractions, teen events led by an AI avatar and new Lego spaces ahead of the ship’s scheduled Mediterranean debut in December 2026. The World Class ship will carry the line’s Family Aventura District across venues including MSC Luna Park Arena, The Clubhouse, The Harbour and Doremiland.\n\nThe Harbour concept, introduced on MSC World America, will be offered in Europe for the first time on MSC World Asia.\n\n“As a family-owned company, MSC Cruises knows what it takes to keep the whole family happy on holiday,” said Steve Leatham, MSC Cruises vice president of entertainment. Leatham said the ship will feature “our widest range of programs yet,” with activities aimed at guests from toddlers through teenagers.\n\n## Interactive games move into dedicated venues\n\nMSC Luna Park Arena will use an interactive floor for gaming experiences, a first for the line. The venue will host three original game shows: Code Breakers, built around solving a secret code; Labyrinth, focused on strategy and orientation; and Chart Toppers, a music quiz spanning songs and artists from different generations.\n\nThe Clubhouse will add a new pop-up concept called Extra Record Live, along with MasterChef at Sea Juniors and Out of Control, a sports-court competition using timed obstacle challenges assigned digitally. The venue will also include activities such as roller skating, bumper cars, a Lego Family Zone and coach-led sports and wellness sessions.\n\nMatteo Mancini, MSC Cruises family entertainment development director, said the team wanted guests to encounter “something completely new,” adding that “every experience has been designed to surprise, inspire and spark imagination.”\n\n## The Harbour expands the outdoor program\n\nThe Harbour will include Cliffhanger, an attraction MSC describes as Europe’s first over-water swing of its kind, positioned 164 feet above the ocean. The area will also feature the Adventure Trail, a two-level ropes course spanning 6,210 square feet with two Sky Rails, plus an aquapark with waterslides, a raft slide and dueling body slides.\n\nMSC also plans The Play Deck, a new outdoor area for younger children, and the Tree of Life @ The Spiral, an 11-deck dry slide connecting The Harbour with the World Promenade. MSC calls it the longest dry slide at sea.\n\nThe ship’s Aqua Deck will include seven pools and 13 hot tubs, with two redesigned pools: the outdoor Manila Bay pool and the indoor Coral Cove pool, which will sit under a retractable glass roof. The Harbour is also scheduled to shift into evening use with lighting and extended nighttime activities.\n\n## Kids and teens get separate programming\n\nTeen programming will be led in part by Yuna, a new AI avatar hosting events including the Yuna K-Pop Party and Yuna Boogie Roller Party. MSC said teen-only sessions will also run across several of the ship’s main venues.\n\nDoremiland, MSC’s kids-and-teens area for ages 6 months to 17 years, will span more than 10,000 square feet on Deck 19. The space will include age-specific clubs, gaming areas, an arcade, an MSC Formula Racer simulator and two new Lego rooms: one inspired by Asian landmarks and culture, and another dedicated to Formula 1.\n\nYoung guests will also see a new Lego Parade featuring seven mascots inspired by Lego characters.\n\n## Mediterranean debut is set for late 2026\n\nMSC World Asia will be the third ship in MSC Cruises’ World Class series. Beginning Dec. 4, 2026, its seven-night Mediterranean itineraries are scheduled to include Barcelona, Marseille, Messina, Civitavecchia for Rome, Naples and Valletta.",
