Summit County eaglet deemed safe after coordinated rescue effort

Summit Metro Parks, the Ohio Department of Natural Resources and FirstEnergy recently mobilized to rescue a baby bald eagle that had a fishing lure stuck in its beak. The effort to rescue the eagle, the national bird, comes as the U.S. prepares to celebrate its 250th birthday this weekend.
