Gov. Mike DeWine vetoes GOP bill to require photo ID for absentee voting

Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine vetoed House Bill 472, a move to require a photo ID for absentee voting. DeWine said the bill “would not discourage fraud, would not add any real security, and would create an additional and significant burden for Ohioans who vote by mail.”
