Driver flees after knocking down utility pole: Avon Lake police blotter

On June 8 at 1 am, a driver struck a utility pole and left the scene. The pole fell into the street, closing traffic for almost 12 hours. The driver was located June 12 and cited for failure to control and leaving the scene of an accident / hit-skip.
