Store clerk stops woman from falling victim to crypto scam: Westlake Police Blotter

A clerk at a convenience store at Dover Center Road and Center Ridge Road phoned the police department at 3 p.m. on June 10 to report a crypto scam in progress. As in a similar recent incident, the clerk intervened when a customer attempted to deposit large amounts of cash into the cryptocurrency ATM in the store.
