Medina County is part of a nationwide opioid lawsuit involving more than 4,000 local governments — and a settlement is now in place

The county will receive about 0.00345% of the settlement after attorney fees, with at least 95% of funds designated for addiction treatment, prevention programs and other opioid remediation efforts.
