Troubadour celebrates 40 years since inhabiting ‘Guitar Town’ on debut album

Last year Steve Earle was celebrating 50 years since signing his first song publishing contract. This year brings another anniversary however -- the 40th for "Guitar Town," his debut, which hit No. 1 on the Billboard country charts and was certified gold. The title track was also nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Country Song. Earle will be on stage Thursday, May 28, at the Goodyear Theater in Akron.
