Akron moves forward with proposed Special Improvement District in Highland Square neighborhood

Progress has already been made toward the proposed Special Improvement District in Akron’s Highland Square neighborhood. The SID aims to improve neighborhood safety through additional security, beautification and litter pick up, according to a news release.
