Advocates urge Ohio lawmakers to end child marriage as bill sets minimum age at 18

Bipartisan legislation introduced in the Ohio Senate would eliminate current exceptions allowing 17-year-olds to wed. Over 5,000 minors married in Ohio between 2000 and 2024.
