Bay Village officials tour fire station ahead of $11.4 million renovation, expansion (photo gallery)

The 53-year-old Bay Village fire station is outdated for today’s needs, lacks storage space, and encountered with mold problems in the ventilation system, Fire Chief Chris Lyons said during a recent tour of the building. Prior to City Council’s Feb. 2 meeting, members toured the 53-year-old fire station, which will soon undergo a more than $11.4 million renovation and expansion.
