As per the\n[Anthropic press release](https://www.anthropic.com/news/australia-MOU):\n\n> The ANU School of Computing is also embedding Claude into new courses to train\n> the next generation of Australian developers and scientists.\n\nThis is a no-strings-attached gift, for us to use as we see fit in figuring out\nhow to train the next generation (and re-train the current one) of software\nengineers in this\n[new world of agentic coding](/blog/2026/03/30/comp4020-whats-the-theory-here/).\nIt also means my worries about (not) being able to give my students the\n[sharpest tools](/blog/2026/02/17/comp4020-sharp-tools/) are now gone. Claude\nCode (and the models that power it) has been\n[my](/blog/2026/02/18/ben-s-dev-setup-2026-edition/) [daily](/blog/2025/07/23/running-claude-code-within-zed/) [driver](/blog/2025/06/06/agentic-elixir-superpowers-zed-tidewave-ashai/) [for](/blog/2025/12/23/coding-agents-and-the-plasticity-of-code/) [the](/blog/2026/02/05/out-of-the-browser-on-the-power-of-interfaces-for-agentic-ai/) [last](/blog/2025/07/17/agentic-ai-llms-with-stones/) [year](/blog/2024/08/12/hosting-a-genai-trivia-night/),\nand I think it's now unquestioned that they're the leader in this space.\n\nThe one remaining \"infrastructure\" piece of the puzzle is where to develop the\nprototypes and how to put them on the open web (as per\n[this post](/blog/2026/03/05/comp4020-safety-yolo-and-the-open-web/)). If you\nwork at a company that provides that sort of infra and want to be part of this,\nthen [get in touch](mailto:ben.swift@anu.edu.au).\n",
