NEW x26 Synology model lineup

NOTE : This article will contain upcoming information on new devices(and the rest of the hardware) that Synology will release by the end of the year and well into 2026.

As in previous years, the second half of the year tends to bring new potential devices, either arriving on the scene or at least being announced. This year, several new devices have emerged—particularly in the x25 segment—but their updates have not been especially impressive. Apart from a modest network upgrade, the remaining hardware largely mirrors the previous generation.

Solution Day 2025 showcased several forthcoming enterprise models, further overshadowing the DS and RS model lines.

However, with the company's push into AI integration, some upcoming 2026 models may differ slightly from what we have grown accustomed to in the past. To accommodate this, we will aggregate all forthcoming announcements into this single article over time, while also providing dedicated reviews or overviews of the models as separate posts.

Will we see any additional devices before the end of the year? Probably not, but we should wait to see what the final quarter of 2025 unveils as we look ahead to what could be a more interesting 2026.
