Unicode character displayed incorrectly

I use an arrow character “YouTube​︎’ to denote external links from my Wordpress blog. When the posts are retrieved from the feed to my timeline here they end up looking like this “YouTube↗︎”. Is that something that could be corrected, maybe an encoding issue?
