"description": "I am The Hague! I guess it shouldn't be surprising that this entry into the franchise — the entry with the most demonstrable emotion — ends up being the best of the bunch (so far). Things kick off with a rescue mission to pick up Wesley Snipes (an old colleague — Doc) and end with the team confronting Mel Gibson as Stonebanks (a capable villain if ever there was one and an easy guy to dislike). You get some proper comic relief in Antonio Banderas' Galgo, a near tragedy in the wounding of Terry Crews' Caesar and a decent bout of introspection on the part of Stallone's Barney Ross. It sets the franchise up for a handoff (given that Stallone was 68?!) at the time of filming. Ronda Rousey (as Luna) and Glen Powell (as Thorn) are the standouts of the new cast (but they're all solid). Kelsey Grammer is an excellent fixer, Arnold gets in a chopper reference and Jet Li makes an appearance. Just awesome all around — a complete, engaging action movie and it somehow manages to give everyone a moment (even Dolph and Couture) with a really packed cast. (No, I won't be getting an Expendables tattoo.)",
