Hubris, probably hubris. The misguided notion that we'll actually be able to terraform a planet in a reasonable amount of time (we won't), when we can't even take care of the one we're on. We'd be better served focusing on that. I didn't expect much from this. I liked the cast and that, naturally, made it pretty enjoyable. I'm also a sucker for futuristic scifi schlock, the post-apocalyptic and misguided space missions. This checked some of those boxes and well, a cast you like, a preference for the genre and all that will buy you some good will. Good luck space janitor. The story is scattered, there are myriad threats, somehow they can breath on a Martian hellscape, deaths occur and escapes are made. Fun stuff (and doesn't deserve the hate it gets).",
