"description": "We're far, far past the point where new entries into the Jurassic Park franchise are necessary. That they're no longer necessary does not preclude them from being fun and this was certainly fun. Chris Pratt is gone, Scarlett Johansson and a cast of reliable supporting actors are in. It manages to take some shots at our late-stage capitalist hellbucket (and why not? It's an easy target). People are bored with dinosaurs, some are left and we need to exploit those that are left so a drug company can sell a hyper-expensive life-extending drug to the uber rich. The mercenaries (lead by Scarlett) are ruthless until they're not — she develops a soft spot for the Jonathan Bailey-portrayed Jeff Goldblum-esque scientist. He's less awkward, but we need a scientist to do science. Scarlett also looks to protect the hapless tourist family that the team rescues. Surrounded by dinosaurs and some humanity prevails. Plus Dolores, Dolores is a gem. Why does the massive, end of times dinosaur look like something out of Aliens ? Good times are had by all, the leopard eats the face of the capitalist, decent people lose their lives (except that jackass with the big gun — he was unnecessary) and the cure is open sourced. Hail hail.",
