Alisha Weir manages to shine as the film's namesake villain, Melissa Barrera always delivers ( Scream isn't going to be the same without her and Jenna Ortega) and Dan Stevens is a more than capable compliment to Barrera. Campy, violent (once some exposition and narrative setup is done) and not at all self-serious when a vampire is dispatched (less dust in the wind more someone with a good throwing arm hit power lines with a latex balloon full of old meat). Fun fun fun. Sammy, those are fucking onions. (Dan Stevens got all the good quips.) Rest in peace, Angus.",
