"description": "The Idaho Four is a thoughtful, fair and empathetic retelling of an American tragedy. One of many American tragedies. Every day seems to bring a new one. I didn't follow the case, I had a passing awareness of it, but found this to be an informative read. It also ends with the case against Bryan Kohberger in progress, before he took a plea deal sentencing him to life in prison and sparing him the death penalty. It's hard to comment on reads like this inasmuch as you're at a total remove from the events and at the mercy of the author's research and narrative. It's a compelling read, a horrifying set of events and lacks a conclusion due to the timing of the writing failing to line up with the conclusion of the court case.",
