Torches usually hurt in real-life if you step into them, and a single piece of Crystal or Nether armor gives you fire protection to stop it, also there's a setting in 3d_armor to disable it.\n\nWell, when you're as smart as me, such mathematical jargon is common (Plus, I strongly support the creation of a Charcoal Block).\nOf course, Minecraft doesn't have harmful torches, again, it's not consistent with Minecraft. Base MineTest also doesn't have that property with all torch kinds.
