That is not a problem in itself. My question was:

Do you also use the station track to reverse the train? I tried this and the signal was automatically triggered.

In other words: did you select the "Reverse train" option in the station track?

Also: Do I understand correctly that the train does not even depart (i.e. move toward the exit signal) after entering the station? Can you provide a screenshot of the HUD (and the text above the HUD, if present) in that case?

Should I set the route "P1" and "P2" from Entrance Signal to the buffer stop and then to the exit signal?

No. The routes from the entry signal should end at the buffer stop.
