"textContent": "Something is nagging at me. NZ First announced that Alfred Ngaro will be added to their list of candidates to stand at the next election. They made quite a bit of noise over this new appointment and I have to ask the question. Was this appointment directly due to New Zealand First appointing Alfred Ngaro into their ranks, or is there something a bit more sinister: that Alfred Ngaro is a very close relation of Mark Brown, the Premier of the Cook Islands?\n\nThat connection has been on my mind. I must, however, stress I have no evidence of any collusion, but when Winston Peters mentioned his meeting with Mark Brown we should not be surprised, as they were simply trying to sort out a political hiccup, or as it was put by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, no more than a family squabble.\n\nAfter so many phone calls from our listeners in the Tamaki area voicing their dismay at NZ First’s appointment of Alfred Ngaro, as promised, I wrote a letter to the NZ First executive.\n\nBy Listener Reaction This is a Major Error of Judgement\n\n0:00\n\n/368.538322\n\n1×",
