It was four long years between Horizons/East before Thrice finally unveiled Horizons/West. Horizons/East was many fans’ and assorted outlets’ favorite albums of 2021 so the pressure was on. The band delivered on all fronts and crafted one of their most cohesive outings to date. Tracks like “Gnash” and “Holding On” are brand new musical territories for the band. It feels like every era of the band has been enhanced and honed.
