GWAR Takes Over The State of New Jersey

The iconic metal band tore up Starland Ballroom in the best possible way.

Kicking off the night was King Parrot all the way from Melbourne, Australia who brought their grind-core style to an already buzzing Starland Ballroom. Ripping through nine of their devastatingly heavy tracks, pulling equally from their 2012 debut Bite Your Head Off and 2025’s A Young Person’s Guide To but also touching some of their other releases. They absolutely got the crowd warmed up, earning a decently sized pit and even getting a wall of death late into their set; not to mention plenty of headbanging.
