A one-person show isn’t the easiest theatrical experience to pull off. The lone actor has to be completely invested in the material, sometimes tackling multiple personas beyond the main character, and plunging you into a world that enthralls for the duration of the play. Sean Hayes’ one-man show The Unknown is a psychological thriller that achieves that in spades.
