The May MegaDrop Is Here — And the House Behind BrawnyAi Is Getting Stronger

The May MegaDrop is ready.

A little later than usual, but packed with love, work, and a lot of behind-the-scenes rebuilding.

The full May release includes 1,220 images and 7 videos across the full BrawnyAi experience. As usual, the main BrawnyAi Side A archive is the safer, platform-friendly side of the world. For eligible members who choose to access it, the Side Door companion home carries the other side of BrawnyAi.

But now, with a clearer door between them.

And because this drop arrives at the beginning of June, I also want to pause for a moment and say this:

Happy Pride Month, MightyBrawnies.

Wherever you are.

If you are in North America, maybe summer is starting to open around you. Maybe the days are longer, patios are filling up, Pride events are appearing on the calendar, and the city feels a little more alive.

If you are in the Southern Hemisphere, maybe the air is getting colder. Maybe winter is arriving, people are staying in more, making warm food, planning trips, visiting family, or finding comfort in smaller rituals.

And for many of you around the world, this season may also mean movement: vacations, school breaks, chosen-family gatherings, family visits, long weekends, Pride celebrations, quiet evenings, or simply trying to find a little space to breathe.

But I also want to make room for those of you who may not have a busy calendar, a chosen-family gathering, a Pride group, a trip, or someone waiting for you at the end of the day. If this season feels quiet, lonely, or disconnected, you are still part of this world too. You are not outside the celebration. You are one of the reasons I keep building places like this.

Wherever you are, I hope BrawnyAi can be one of those little places you return to for warmth, fantasy, humor, beauty, and queer joy.

This May MegaDrop is not just a file release.

And it is also a small window into what I have been building quietly behind the scenes.

Some of you may have noticed that, in recent months, BrawnyAi has felt a little different. Some days were quieter. Some experiments took longer. Some of the public creativity may have looked more muted than before.

That was not because I stopped creating.

It was because I had to spend a lot of time building the house around the work.

Earlier this year, after losing a major video channel and seeing how fragile social platforms can be, it became clearer than ever that BrawnyAi cannot depend only on outside platforms. Instagram, X, Facebook, YouTube, and every other platform each have their own rules, limits, moods, and risks. Some posts can live in one place but not another. Some creative directions are welcomed in one space and punished in another. Some accounts can grow for months and then suddenly hit a wall.

That is not a stable home.

It is a window.

A useful window, yes. A beautiful window sometimes. But still only a window.

The real home of BrawnyAi has to be here.

The website. The archives. The member experience. The video vaults. The Side Door. The world of Lumberlandia. The tools that help preserve the work. The systems that make the experience clearer for you and safer for the project.

That is where most of my invisible work has gone.

There is a story I keep coming back to.

At the beginning of the year, I wrote about BrawnyAi feeling like a raft: something that saved me, carried me, and gave me a way forward, but still felt fragile in rough waters.

Then the project became more like a first house. Useful, alive, full of possibility — but still vulnerable when the wind changed.

The first version was made of straw.

Then came the stronger version, made of wood: the website, the first member system, the MegaDrops, the early vaults, the first real structure around the work.

But after losing platforms, dealing with reach limits, and watching how unstable the outside world can be for independent creators, I realized BrawnyAi needed a brick house.

Not perfect.

Not finished.

But stronger.

A place that can hold the work even when the social feeds become hostile, unpredictable, or too small for what BrawnyAi is becoming.

That is why May was not only about making images.

It was about making BrawnyAi a destination.

A place where you can hang out. Browse. Watch videos. Explore daily archives. Download the monthly MegaDrop if you want the full collector version. Return to old posts. Discover new corners. Move between the main home and the Side Door if that is something you choose to access.

The MegaDrop is still the most complete monthly collector release.

If you want the original monthly archive in full-quality PNG format, the MegaDrop is the sure place to get it. It is the closest thing to “everything from the month,” organized as a proper release instead of scattered across social posts.

Social media is different.

Each platform has its own rules. Each platform receives a different slice of BrawnyAi. Some posts go to Instagram. Some go to X. Some go to member spaces. Some are better suited for Patreon or other supporter platforms. Some belong only inside the website experience.

That is why the MegaDrop matters.

It is the full monthly archive for collectors, supporters, and people who want to keep the work in its original quality.

But I also know that not everyone wants to download gigabytes of files.

Some of you are on phones. Some of you do not use computers often. Some of you simply want to browse, enjoy, and move through the world without downloading a huge ZIP archive.

That is why the daily archives matter.

The daily archives are like slices of the MegaDrop. They are easier to browse directly on the website. They usually use lighter web-friendly versions, so they may not be the same as keeping the original PNG files, but for most browsing and enjoyment, they make the experience much easier.

The MegaDrop is for collecting.

The daily archive is for returning.

Both matter.

And now the two sides of BrawnyAi are also cleaner.

For those who only want the main BrawnyAi experience, the main archive is cleaner and easier to enjoy without being pushed into material you do not want.

For those who previously followed the extra material through places like Telegram or other supporter paths, the Side Door now has a more stable home. It is still opt-in. You choose whether to open it. But if you do, the goal is to make it feel less scattered, less dependent on chat apps, and more like part of a real BrawnyAi world.

One account. One main home. A clearer path.

That has been a major part of the work.

The video vaults are another part.

After losing a major video channel, one of the first things I tried to do was preserve more of the video work inside BrawnyAi itself. That work is not fully organized yet. Some videos still need better categories, tags, and collections. But the important thing is that they are no longer just floating somewhere else, at the mercy of a platform that may or may not keep them.

The same is true for the Side Door video area. It is more structured in some ways, but still needs more classification and polish over time.

This is the reality of building as one creator with AI, code, design, writing, websites, archives, and community all moving at once.

Even with AI, it is not “just prompting.”

It is thinking. Testing. Breaking things. Fixing things. Studying what other people have done. Asking what can be better. Building workflows. Preparing archives. Making member access clearer. Trying to protect the project without making the experience cold or confusing.

It is a lot.

And yes, some of it has meant sleepless nights and long days inside infrastructure work instead of only making new images.
