Along with the fact that most of the AT protocol projects I’ve seen, such as teal.fm, rocksky.app, and bookhive.buzz, store artist/song data and book data in the user’s respective PDS rather than in a centralized account with reference links. In a perfect world, I’d leave it up to the user as a choice; however, that would complex the code having to deal with references for some users and then not having to deal with that same thing for other users."
