Field Note: A voltmeter clock

This is a novel idea for a clock - it uses voltmeters to show the hours, minutes, and seconds. Out of left field designs like things remind me that the mainstream of product design is a shallow money trench, to quote Hunter S Thompson. The actual circuit for this clock is “far less interesting” per the author. The work was in the idea, and the fabricating of the case. Evidently it doesn’t take much to leave the landlord grey minimalism hive mind that bleeds out of pinterest and into the shelves of big box stores.
