The systems product leader and the problem of scaling compliance in global logistics

Air cargo rarely attracts attention until something goes wrong. A fire mid-flight. A container flagged too late. A shipment that should never have boarded in the first place. Yet behind the steady expansion of global trade sits a quieter strain. In 2024 alone, air freight demand grew by 11.3%, pushing the market to $351 billion, with projections nearing $593 billion by 2033. Volume moves faster than the systems meant to govern it. Dangerous goods, lithium batteries, industrial chemicals, pressurized materials, continue to slip through classification gaps, mislabeled or undeclared.
