Ebola in the Congo: Death toll tops 300

In a follow-up on the Ebola Bundibugyo outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), the official DRC Ministry of Health update details an ongoing Ebola outbreak as of June 24, 2026, concentrated in Ituri province (epicenter with 22 affected health zones), plus surveillance in 11 zones of Nord-Kivu and limited cases in Sud-Kivu.
