Argentina confirmed chikungunya tally tops 1,500 in 2026

During the current season, 8,104 total cases of chikungunya fever were reported, of which 1,538 correspond to confirmed and probable cases, following only Brazil and Bolivia’s case counts in the Americas, according to PAHO data.
