Chikungunya outbreak in Bolivia: CDC issues travel warning

Last week, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) issued a (Level 2 - Practice Enhanced Precautions) travel notice for travelers to Bolivia due to a chikungunya outbreak primarily the departments of Santa Cruz in the eastern part of the country, and Cochabamba in central Bolivia.
