I would like to take a moment and extend my heartfelt congratulations to all the candidates who dedicated themselves to pursuing meaningful change for North Dakota in this Primary Election. While Mark Casler and I did not secure the threshold amount of votes to advance to the November General Election, I am very proud of our efforts to cultivate choice and civic engagement across Northwestern North Dakota.
It was a privilege to connect with so many of my fellow neighbors and community members that helped me gain insight into the unique services and challenges we are facing. I am truly inspired by the active participation of our community. From our Saturday morning discussions at Daily Addiction Coffeehouse to the togetherness at the Band Day Parade and our collaborative park clean-ups, I had many wonderful conversations, emphasizing the importance for a strong support in education, affordable childcare and healthcare, and innovative workforce development throughout Northwestern North Dakota. Being able to listen to the concerns that matter most to you only solidified my decision to run as a first time candidate for District 23 in the North Dakota House of Representatives.
Thank you to all who supported me along my journey of running for District 23. I would not have been able to do the work without my team beside me, assisting me along the way.
I donβt plan on stopping here. Keep an eye out for me as I look for potential future ways to serve our community.
Fondly, Michael Steele
