  "textContent": "I had a wonderful time with a great cup of coffee, getting to speak with our community members and hearing more about their concerns for our local issues.\n\nGreat discussion was had as we explored local issues:\n\n  * **_Valuable educational programs_** in Williston, such as Williston Basin Career & Technical Education Center\n  * Inability to **_recruit and retain_** teachers due to rising cost of living\n  * Oil and gas extraction industry in Williston being **_one of the largest contributors_** for North Dakota's GDP and yet, our schools receive equal, not _equitable_ , funding per student while having a higher transient population\n  * Barriers to **_quality healthcare options_** as our community members have to seek adequate care elsewhere, sometimes even out of state\n  * Medicare and Medicaid having **_limited access for our most needed_** community members\n\n\n\n* * *\n\n> \"I have a great time with these events and plan to continue them.
