In this episode— _recorded on the 21st of November 2025_ —we spoke of many things. I started it a bit tentatively as I was reeling a little from recent news that one of my many cavalier and flippant comments had got me in trouble with a friend. I’d thought to remedy the situation trickster-style _by changing sides_ and arguing _for_ what I was previously arguing against. But really: I just needed to release and relax into the warm emergence.\n\nAnd so I did! And this episode was as marvellous as ever. Yes there’s a fake ad snuck into the mix (JA never misses!) and you’ll also be pleased to know that the whisky opening has evolved from a mere ‘pop’ to a full blown _‘twist and pop and slosh’._\n\nNow, in this very episode we both express our concerns for the unintended consequences most adults are not alert to, with regards to artificial intelligence. This particular episode of The Great Simplification was something we both referred to. Particularly the notion that, just as social media hijacked our attention, artificial intelligence is hijacking our _attachment_. If you’ve children in your family and/or community, this is of particular concern. (And for adults, too.)\n\nI was also quite delighted that our conversation took a turn towards The Journey of Soul Initiation_,_ too.\n\nI always struggle to write of the conversation we share here. They’re warm and real, and don’t really need to be dressed up more beyond that. If you’re the kind of person who enjoys getting lost and dancing with the possibility of surprise, you’re a kindred spirit and we suspect you’ll enjoy. _Slàinte!_",
