“Sunday Morning” Wins Disney Television Animation Prize For Best MIFA Pitch At Annecy Film Festival, 2026.

Disney Television Animation has awarded the indie-animated pitch “Sunday Morning ” for Best MIFA Pitch at the Annecy Film Festival, 2026. The slice of life series created by Minasie Terefe with Behagerli Studio will be optioned for development for a potential Disney Channel and Disney+ animated series.

“Sunday Morning ” follows four siblings try to turn every quiet Sunday Morning into an epic adventure; without waking their sleepy mother.

Introduced in 2025 by Orion Ross (Disney TVA VP of International Animation). The Disney Television Animation Prize for Best MIFA Pitch serves as scouting the next generation of talent for Disney TV Animation shows.
