Disney Branded Television Reportedly Snags “Pókemon” License For Broadcast And Streaming Starting With “Pókemon Indigo League”.

Disney Branded Television has reportedly re-acquired the broadcasting and streaming rights for “Pókemon” to air on Disney owned networks and streaming services like Hulu and Disney+.
This was reported by fellow news site DisneyBeat101 according to them this new partnership with The Pokémon Company will start with the premiere of the classic “ Pókemon indigo League ” series on Disney XD and Disney+ slated for August.
DisneyBeat101 also hinted that Disney Branded Television and The Pokémon Company has rights to something brand new with the series coming next year. Which will get official information later.

If true then this could be a huge deal with Disney+ and Disney XD as being branded as the offical home for Pókemon with their multiple shows and movies compared to Netflix which snagged the rights of the franchise in 2021.
Disney XD originally acquired the broadcating rights for Pókemon in 2016 to air the series Sun & Moon. Additionaly several Pókemon movies where made available to stream on the DisneyNOW app from 2017 to 2021.
