  "textContent": "Lightbox Expo 2026 is set to screen **Disney Television Animation** ’s **_“_**** _Totally Twisted Fairy Tales_** _**”**_ for the first time in more than 20 years.\n\nThe screening includes the unreleased short “** _The_** **_Three Pigs_** ”\n\n> ICYMI: Totally Twisted Fairy Tales was meant to be a series of four animated short films, set to release on VHS in the late 1990s. The series’ concept revolved around satirical retellings of classic fairy tales, with Disney Television Animation letting the shorts’ crews have full control of the short they were assigned to, hiring some of the best writers within the sitcom genre and the best directors from the studio. Only two shorts where produced “**Redux Riding Hood”** earning a nomination at the 1998 **Academy Awards** for Best **Animated Short Film**. “**The Three Pigs** ” however never was given any sort of official release by Disney.\n\n“It’s happening at long last!
