Disney Branded Television Submits “The Muppet Show” For Primetime Emmys Ballot In FYC Event

Disney Branded Television is submitting “The Muppet Show: Special Event ” for “Outstanding Variety Special ” at the Primetime Emmy Awards 2026.

The Ayo Davis-lead unit recently hosted a “FYC" event to promote the special before the nominations are announced in July. If selected, “The Muppet Show ” will be the second time where Point Grey Pictures gets nominated to the Emmys in two years back-to-back (Apple TV “The Studio”).
