Disney Branded Television Invites You To A Gorotama Showdown As “Dragon Striker” Sets Worldwide Debut On Disney XD, Disney+ And Hulu.

What can we say it’s the Key to life.🔥🐉⚽️

The official trailer for the epic animated sports fantasy series Dragon Striker was revealed today. Blending European fantasy with Japanese animation influences, the series follows an underdog hero’s journey, brought to life through high-stakes battles, visually stunning action and expansive mythology.

All 11 episodes premiere June 9 on Disney XD. The marathon kicks off at 5:00 p.m. EDT/PDT and will stream next day on Disney+ and Hulu. Worldwide audiences will be getting the series Wednesday June 10 on international versions of Disney+. Disney Branded Television also has unveiled the cast of the series:

  • -Yeukayi Ushe (Massive Entertainment “Star Wars: Outlaws”)**** plays Milo
  • -Waylon Jacobs (20th Century Studios “Planet Of The Apes: A New Kingdom”) plays Odward
  • -Evanna Lynch (Nickelodeon Animation Studios “Rise Of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles”, Warner Bros Pictures “Harry Potter” franchise) plays Ameline

A series of shorts “Dragon Striker: Meet The Players " introducing audiences to the world of Dragon Striker begins rolling outMay 13 on Disney+, Disney XD and Disney Channel Animation YouTube.

Award-winning Kevin Penkin (Made in Abyss , Star Wars: Visions) is the series composer. The score was recorded in Japan with an 80-piece orchestra. The series theme song, “Power of the Dragon” was written and produced by Cash Callaway and performed by Sarah West. The end credits song, “The Very End, ” was written and performed by Kieran Rhodes.

Both songs will be released Friday June 5 in all digital music platforms via Walt Disney Records.

The series will have a special panel at Anime Central Expo slated for Saturday, May 16 at 2:00PM CT.
