"textContent": "# **“The Simpsons Movie 2” And Third “Phineas And Ferb” Lands California Tax Credits As California’s Goverment Will Fund More Animation Projects.**\n\nCalifornia is pushing to bring animation production back to the state, with a new round of tax credits that now includes animated features alongside live-action projects. **California has awarded tax credits** to 38 film projects through its expanded Film & Television Tax Credit Program, including \"_**The Simpsons Movie 2**_ “ from **20th Century Animation/20th Television Animation/Gracie Films** and the third **_\"Phineas And Ferb” film_** from **Disney Television Animation** marking one of the first rounds to include animated features alongside big-budget and productions.\n\nAnimated feature films were eligible for the first time in the program’s history, with three projects selected from DreamWorks Animation, 20th Century Studios, and Disney Television Animation. “**The Simpsons 2** ” is set to receive $21.9 million in tax credits, while “**Phineas And Ferb 3”** has been allocated about $3.5 million.\n\n“The Simpsons 2 and the other animated features are projected to deliver $144 million in qualified expenditures throughout the state.
