Walt Disney Animation Studios Spells First Look To “Hexed”, Adds Hailee Steinfeld And Rashida Jones As Leads.

Life can sometimes be magical. ✨ Walt Disney Animation Studios has unveiled some details on it’s upcoming animated feature film “Hexed with the biggest reveal of all, it starred a teenager girl the whole time.

The studio announced that Hailee Steinfeld (Sony Pictures Animation "Spiderman Into The Spiderverse” franchise) is Billie while Rashida Jones (Netlifx “Black Mirror”, SPA “Klaus”) is Alice.

Hexed follows Billie and her Type-A mom Alice as they discover that what makes her unusual might just be magical powers that will turn their lives and a secret world of magic, upside down. During Disney’s CinemaCon presentation, we saw Billie getting a personality test / interrogation by a book and quill, speaking in British accents, who invite her into a a world of magic and wonder.

“Hexed” is directed by Josie Trinidad (“Zootopia” franchise) and Jason Hand (“Moana 2”) inspired by Trinidad’s personal life while raising her own son.
