The Walt Disney Company ’s CFO Hints More Investment In Original Anime Productions

This afternoon, The Walt Disney Company’s CFO Hugh Johnston participated in a Q&A at the 2026 Morgan Stanley Technology, Media & Telecom Conference.

During the interview Johnston stated that Japan and South Korea are markets Disney’s focusing more with Anime being a big focus hinting more investment in original anime productions for Disney+.
