  "textContent": "Candes-Saint-Martin is close to the confluence of the Loire and the Vienne rivers.  We went on a lovely circular walk from the town up through the nearby vineyards to the view point. \n\n\nFirst we headed up from the river through the town.\n\n{{<fig \"IMG_6160.jpeg\">}}\n{{<fig \"IMG_6163.jpeg\">}}\n\nWhere we reached the vineyards and sunflower fields.\n\n{{<fig \"P1030172.jpeg\">}}\n{{<fig \"IMG_6171.jpeg\">}}\n{{<fig \"IMG_6174.jpeg\">}}\n\nAfter heading across the fields above the town where we saw many fields of produce we reached the viewpoint overlooking the confluence of the rivers.\n\n{{<fig \"P1030182.jpeg\">}}\n{{<fig \"IMG_6176.jpeg\">}}\n{{<fig \"P1030184.jpeg\">}}\n\nWe then headed down and walked back along the edge of the town nearest the Loire - it was amazing to see the markers showing just how high the water had risen in the past.\n\n{{<fig \"IMG_6162.jpeg\">}}\n{{<fig \"IMG_6178.jpeg\">}}\n{{<fig \"IMG_6179.jpeg\">}}\n\nAfter the walk we stopped at a picnic spot along the way back just up from the river.\n\n{{<fig \"IMG_6181.jpeg\">}}",
