Wi-Fi not working after kernel update

After a kernel update, my Wi-Fi no longer works. I have a Broadcom BCM4331 (Mac mini, late 2012). Wi-Fi only barely works after a modprobe of b43. lspci -knn shows that it's using something called bcma-pci-bridge? What happened? Was there a development...
