  "textContent": "HPE has rolled out a new enterprise memory server built for complex business workloads, compute-heavy systems, and emerging agentic AI workloads.\n\nThe HPE Compute Scale-up Server 3250 is powered by Intel Xeon 6 processors. It’s available with a minimum of four and up to 16 sockets and supports up to 64TB of DDR5 memory. The 3250 is built on the HPE Superdome Flex architecture, which includes a high-speed interconnect fabric that links multiple CPU sockets into one system image.\n\nRather than tying together multiple one- or two- socket servers, the 3250 acts as a large, shared-memory machine, reducing server sprawl and complex data reassembly for target workloads such as SAP HANA, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server databases, according to HPE.\n\nThe server also supports HPE’s Integrated Lights Out (iLO) management technology, which lets customers diagnose and resolve server issues, configure and manage access, and perform a variety of other automated tasks aimed at improving efficiency, according to Krista Satterthwaite, senior vice president and general manager for compute at HPE.\n\n“HPE iLO establishes a silicon root of trust through a dedicated security processor and validated firmware, which safeguards against future threats with post-quantum cryptography,” Satterthwaite stated. “Resiliency features of the HPE Compute Scale-up Server 3250 include advanced memory error detection and correction, as well as memory healing and deconfiguration. Additionally, the server is designed for fault-tolerant uptime, delivering the highest availability for critical business workloads.”\n\nThe box competes most closely with IBM Power servers as well as high-end offerings from Dell, Fujitsu and others.\n\nThe HPE 3250 is available now.",
