"plaintext": "now i've got you with that awesome engagement bait first line i'll explain. so in 2023 i had a laptop that only had like 2 hours worth of battery life, which wouldn't get me though the day, so I was introduced to arch linux by a friend. and it worked by battery life increased by about 2 hours. which was long enough that it meant I could charge it at lunch break. and like any arch user I had to do daily updates, but I updated in a lesson and the school wifi went down, at the same time my kernel was updating so I had bricked my laptop. I was also no computer science expert at this point, those who know a bit of my lore would know I wanted to be a biophysicist at this point. so my suicide note was unaccessible to me. but I was also getting into the catppuccin theme at this time, and the people on the server had goated me into putting a nixos iso onto a USB. which of course I had at the time with me. so I did the only obvious thing, install nixos in the middle of my lesson and rewrite my note. but instead I spent several hours editing a config and forgetting to make my note."
