"plaintext": "\nA sea of hydrangeas\ngreeted me like I was a rockstar,\nI walked up through the front door,\nwhile they lined up to the side on the ground floor!\nI was lucky they never asked for my autograph, \nIf they did, at the time, that version would have been just a draft.\nI thought I knew myself really really well,\nLooking back now, life kept me under a spell.\nAt the time, I was so convinced that the habitat of happiness was outside of myself,\nAt the time, I still bought into the theory that I could only be happy if I was loved and wanted by somebody else.\nWhen I first walked into that house, I was still with him,\nSuch a long time ago, and so much has happened since then.\nIf I arrived confused and lost, \nI usually walked away with a more positive thought.\nIf I arrived discombobulated,\nI usually walked away more centered, less agitated. \nOver a decade, the hydrangeas have been my witnesses,\nThat house has grown to be my home even though I’ve never lived in it."
