Sat outside, ate dinner, drank a beer, and wrote a bad haiku listening to music
The me that only drinking a beer knows—A spring evening
ビールのみぞしるわたしに春の夕
It was a really nice Spring day today here with a nice morning rain shower and a pleasant, warm and windy afternoon and evening. I decided to make some pasta and mix it in with some bell peppers and leftover lamb chops with some manchego cheese grated on top. I sat there eating and sipping a Bell’s Two-Hearted from the can that I have been trying to get rid of because of the carbonation. But sitting there in the glass, it was nice as I listened to some old music I streamed from my desktop to my phone to the Bose speaker that I won in Amsterdam over a decade ago.
I decided to give a kakekotoba (pivot word) a whirl with this one. It’s still a bad haiku, but I am a little bit proud of this one.
