Meta doubles down on custom AI chips with Broadcom deal through 2029

Under the deal, Meta has committed to an initial deployment of 1 gigawatt of MTIA capacity and plans to ramp to multiple gigawatts of Broadcom-based accelerators as its AI footprint grows.
